By accessing the Jetset Automotive website, or by engaging Jetset Automotive to carry out any work, inspection, repair, maintenance, diagnostic, grooming, or related service on your vehicle (including quotes and estimates), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Website Use & Acceptance
By using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the website immediately.
2. Cookies
This website uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by our server. They cannot run programs or deliver viruses.

3. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Jetset Automotive and/or its licensors own all intellectual property rights in this website and its content.

7. Estimates, Quotes & Authorisation (Workshop Services)
Prices given before work starts are estimates unless stated as a fixed quote.
Estimates may change if extra work or parts are needed.
We’ll get your approval before doing extra work that increases the cost by more than 10%.
Approval can be verbal, in writing, or by electronic message.
8. Parts & Labour
All prices include new parts and labour unless stated otherwise.
Customer-supplied or used parts are fitted at your own risk — no warranty applies to them.
Additional labour may be charged if supplied parts are unsuitable or faulty.
Parts remain the property of Jetset Automotive until paid for in full.
9. Warranties
Workmanship is guaranteed for 3 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first) from invoice date.
Parts warranties are provided by the manufacturer or supplier and may vary.
Warranty claims must be reported to us promptly and inspected by us before repairs are made elsewhere.
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or work done by others after our service.
10. Payment & Debt Collection
Payment is due in full when you collect your vehicle, unless agreed in writing.
We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, and Mastercard (surcharges may apply).
Vehicles will not be released until payment is received.
Overdue accounts may incur interest at 5% per month, calculated daily.
We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of $25 for handling overdue accounts.
If payment is not received and the account is referred to a debt collection agency or legal representatives, you agree to pay all costs incurred in recovering the debt, including collection fees, legal costs, and court costs.
11. Vehicle Storage & Abandonment
Vehicles not collected within 24 hours of being notified work is complete may incur storage fees of $50/day.
If payment is overdue by more than 30 days, we may exercise our legal right to retain and sell the vehicle to recover costs (under the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017).
12. Risk & Insurance
We take reasonable care of your vehicle, but we are not responsible for loss or damage beyond our control (e.g. theft, fire, natural disaster, third-party damage).
It’s your responsibility to keep your vehicle insured at all times.
Remove valuables before leaving your vehicle with us — we are not liable for lost personal items.
13. Test Drives & Vehicle Movement
You authorise our staff or contractors to drive your vehicle for testing, diagnosis, or delivery purposes.
14. Complaints & Disputes
Any concerns must be raised within 14 days of collecting your vehicle.
We’ll work with you to resolve issues promptly.
Unresolved disputes may be referred to the Motor Trade Association (MTA) mediation service (if applicable) or the Disputes Tribunal.
15. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
If your vehicle is for personal use, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act apply.
If your vehicle is used for business, the Act does not apply.
